Mixcloud strikes licensing deal with Warner Music; moves towards subscription model

Mixcloud, UK-based streaming platform and SoundCloud rival, has signed a licensing agreement with Warner Music Group that will allow it to start offering on-demand paid subscription services. With around 17 million monthly users, the popular streaming is host to radio shows, podcast and DJ sets with a focus on long-form content.
