David Jones collaborates with Daniel Johns for world-first fashion shoot captured by musical instruments

National department store chain and fashion powerhouse David Jones has collaborated with local musician and former Silverchair frontman Daniel Johns to create a truly innovative music video/fashion shoot hybrid titled ‘Shot By Sound’ where the cameras are sonically-triggered by the band’s instruments. It’s an exciting first-of-its-kind campaign and concept, seeing the brand ditch the traditional TVC and instead setting up 42 customised DSLR cameras in a giant studio to capture the models as sound from each instrument of the live performance reached a set threshold and triggered a photo. Amazing!
