Triple J’s Unearthed program has uncovered and showcased some of the best musicians since 1995 – I should know, as the live Drum & Bass band I am part of ‘Kobra Kai’ won Triple J’s Unearthed NSW heat in 2007 and earned us the opportunity to play main-stage at Fuzzy Parklife alongside MIA and Shapeshifter! But when Triple J recently discovered an 11 year-old producer from Canberra named Black Summer they hurried over to visit him at parents’ home.
